How It Works
- 1. Cameras detect motion — entry point cameras trigger only when someone arrives or leaves
- 2. AI identifies unique faces — GPU-accelerated recognition in ~32 milliseconds per frame, distinguishing individuals without needing to know who they are
- 3. System checks the booking — guest count is pulled from your channel manager (Hostfully, Guesty, etc.) and compared against unique faces detected
- 4. Alerts go out instantly — over-occupancy, unknown visitors, missing worker check-ins — delivered via your preferred channel

The Technology
Guest Monitoring uses InsightFace, an open-source, GPU-accelerated face detection engine that runs entirely on local hardware. It processes each camera frame in approximately 32 milliseconds — fast enough for real-time monitoring with minimal hardware requirements. Even an integrated laptop GPU can handle it. There are no per-inference API fees, no cloud subscriptions, and no footage leaves your property.
The system is already running in production on properties we manage, proven over months of continuous operation.
